EMLOK Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of EMLOK (“Platform”, “EMLOK”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

• Platform: emlok.com and all related pages, dashboards, and services operated by EMLOK.
• User: any individual or legal entity visiting, registering, or using the Platform.
• Listing: property-related content including text, photos, videos, prices, location data, and similar information.
• Lister: a User who posts or manages a Listing (individual or business).

2. Scope of Service

EMLOK provides a listing and connection platform that enables Users to publish and view property listings.
EMLOK is not a party to any agreement, transaction, or communication between buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, or real estate professionals.

3. Accounts, Security & User Responsibility

• You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Activities performed under your account are deemed to be made by you.
• EMLOK may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts suspected of misuse, fraud, or security risks.

4. Listing Rules & Content Standards

By posting a Listing, you confirm that:

• You have the legal right/authorization to advertise the property or to act on behalf of the authorized party.
• Listing details (price, address/location, size, features, ownership/permit information, etc.) are accurate and not misleading.
• Fake, misleading, manipulated pricing, or fraudulent listings are prohibited.
• Photos/media must belong to you or you must have permission to use them; copyright infringement is prohibited.
• Repetitive/spam listings for the same property may be removed.

EMLOK may remove or limit visibility of Listings if:

• they violate these Terms,
• they receive credible complaints or cannot be reasonably verified,
• required by law or official requests, or
• they harm Platform quality, safety, or trust.

5. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• use the Platform for unlawful purposes,
• access or attempt to access another User’s account without permission,
• scrape, harvest, or extract data using bots/automation,
• upload malware or attempt attacks (including DDoS),
• post content involving harassment, hate speech, violence, scams, or deception.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, design, brand elements, logos, interface, and Platform content (excluding User-generated content) are owned by EMLOK or its licensors.

Users may:

• view the Platform content,
• print/download for non-commercial purposes,
• quote with proper attribution.

Users may not:

• reproduce, distribute, sell, or republish Platform content for commercial purposes without prior written permission from EMLOK.

7. User Content & License

Users are solely responsible for content they upload (including Listing text, images, and media).
By uploading content, you grant EMLOK a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, non-transferable license to host, display, format, reproduce, and distribute such content for operating and promoting the Platform.

8. Third-Party Links

The Platform may include links to third-party websites. EMLOK is not responsible for the content, security, or practices of third parties.

9. Paid Services (If Applicable)

EMLOK may offer paid features (e.g., spotlight, boosted listings, packages). Pricing, scope, and duration are shown at purchase. Payments and refunds (if any) follow the applicable laws and the relevant purchase terms shown at checkout.

10. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

• EMLOK does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• EMLOK does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of Listings posted by Users.
• Users should conduct their own checks and due diligence before any transaction.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EMLOK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold EMLOK harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms, unlawful conduct, or infringement of third-party rights.

12. Privacy

Personal data processing and cookies are handled under the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy (please link these pages on your website).

13. Suspension & Termination

EMLOK may suspend or terminate access, accounts, or Listings if you violate these Terms or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

14. Changes to These Terms

EMLOK may update these Terms at any time. Updates become effective when published on this page. If changes are material, EMLOK may provide additional notice where appropriate.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where EMLOK is legally established. Any dispute shall be subject to the courts and enforcement offices of EMLOK’s registered office location.
